SUGAR COOKIES
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Mix first three ingredients. Sift together next three ingredients. Mix all together and add vanilla. Form into balls and press with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350-375 degree moderate oven.
