NORWEGIAN "KAFFEKAKE"
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2-1/4 c. flour
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ¾ cup butter
- 2 beaten eggs
- ¾ c. milk
- Pinch of salt
- ½ tsp. almond flavoring
Instructions
- Mix the brown sugar, baking powder, flour, and cinnamon and work in ¾ cup butter. Take out ¾ cup to use on top. To remainder add the eggs, milk, salt, and almond. Put in 8x8 inch buttered pan. Sprinkle on topping. Bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
