DIRT CAKE DESSERT
Serves: Serves 8-10.
Ingredients
- 8 inch clean flower pot
- 1-1/4 lb. Oreo cookies
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
- 12 oz tub Cool Whip
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 2 sm. pkgs. vanilla instant pudding mix
- 3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 5-6 candy gummy worms
Instructions
- Stomp on cookies in unopened bag until crushed. Layer some of cookie crumbs in bottom of pot. Combine margarine, cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip and layer part of it over cookies. Combine pudding mix, milk and vanilla and blend until it thickens and layer part of this pudding mixture over cheese-Cool Whip layer. Alternate layers of cookies, cheese-Cool Whip and pudding to fill flower pot (but end with cookie crumbs for top layer). Decorate top with plastic flowers and gummy worms. Serve with garden trowel.
