POP'S OYSTER STEW
- 12 oz. fresh oysters
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 slice white bread
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- ⅛ tsp. salt
- Dash of pepper
- Melt butter in saucepan. Add oysters and liquid. Heat slowly until edges of oysters curl. Remove crust of bread and cut into ¼ inch cubes. Add bread, salt and pepper.
