PLAY DOUGH
- 4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. salt
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- Cook until thickened, stirring constantly, and pulls away from pan. Remove and knead until pliable. Add coloring as desired. Store in refrigerator.
- N.B. Rosalie Hadley's friend, Janet Cromer, stirs in the food coloring with the wet ingredients before cooking. This actually keeps the food coloring off your hands! Smart!
