PAT'S SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE
Ingredients
CAKE:
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 stick oleo
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 eggs
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
TOPPING:
- ¼ c. or more brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ c. chopped nuts
Instructions
- Cream sugar and oleo. Sift dry ingredients. Add eggs to creamed mixture; mix well. Add vanilla and sour cream. Add cake dry ingredients. Mix separately the topping ingredients. Put half of batter in greased tube pan and put half of the nut topping in. Add the rest of batter and cover with other half of topping. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
