ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE
Ingredients
- 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage or ground beef
- ¼ c. onion; chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1 (No. 2½) can tomatoes
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- ⅛ tsp. pepper
- ¼ c. parsley
- 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
Instructions
- Brown meat. Add onion and garlic. Combine all remaining ingredients together and cook in covered pan for three hours. Pour over or mix with cooked spaghetti. May add mushrooms, if desired.
