EGG FONDUE
EGG FONDUE
Serves: Serves 8-10
Ingredients
- 1 lb. mild sausage; sauted
- 5 slices bread, ¼ inch cubed
- 5 oz. American or Cheddar cheese
- 5 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. dry mustard
- parsley (optional sprinkle)
Instructions
- Layer sausage, bread, and cheese in that order into greased 3 quart oblong casserole. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, milk, salt, and mustard. Pour mixture over layers. Bake at 350 degrees until puffed and golden, about 30 minutes.
- Can be made ahead. Refrigerate night before and baked before serving.
