LASAGNA
 
Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 c. ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1½ tsp. salt
  • 1-1/2 to 2 Tbsp. dry onion
  • 1 lg. can tomatoes
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 8-10 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
CHEESE MIXTURE:
  • 3 c. cottage cheese
  • ½ c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 eggs, beaten well
  • 1-1/4 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
Instructions
  1. Brown meat and add garlic, oregano, salt, onion, tomatoes, tomato paste. Simmer ½ hour uncovered, stirring occasionally. Cook 8-10 lasagna noodles. Grate 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese.
  2. Mix together cheese mixture ingredients. Arrange ½ noodles in 9x13 inch pan. Spread ½ cheese mixture, ½ Mozzarella cheese and ½ meat sauce in layers. Repeat layers. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Let set 5-10 minutes before serving.
