LASAGNA
- 1-1/2 c. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1½ tsp. salt
- 1-1/2 to 2 Tbsp. dry onion
- 1 lg. can tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 8-10 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 3 c. cottage cheese
- ½ c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 eggs, beaten well
- 1-1/4 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- Brown meat and add garlic, oregano, salt, onion, tomatoes, tomato paste. Simmer ½ hour uncovered, stirring occasionally. Cook 8-10 lasagna noodles. Grate 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese.
- Mix together cheese mixture ingredients. Arrange ½ noodles in 9x13 inch pan. Spread ½ cheese mixture, ½ Mozzarella cheese and ½ meat sauce in layers. Repeat layers. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Let set 5-10 minutes before serving.
