BARBECUED PORK CHOPS
 
Ingredients
  • 6 thick pork chops
  • Bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Shortening
SAUCE:
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomato
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • ¼ c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Dip chops in egg, roll in bread crumbs, and brown in shortening. Boil sauce ingredients in separate pan. Cover meat with sauce. Cover pan and cook slowly for one hour
