SUGARED WALNUTS
 
Ingredients
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • ¼ c. evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. walnut halves
Instructions
  1. Mix first 4 ingredients. Cook to soft ball stage (minute or two).
  2. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Stir until syrup thickens enough to coat walnuts. Turn out on waxed paper. Separate with two forks.
