POP'S TURKEY STUFFING
- 1 large loaf bread
- ¼ lb. oleo
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
- ⅛ tsp. pepper
- ⅓ c. onion
- ½ c. celery
- 1 apple, chopped
- 8 prunes, cut up
- Cut bread into ½ inch cubes. Melt butter (oleo) and sprinkle over cubes. Add bouillon cubes, crumbled. Brown lightly in heavy skillet. Add all other ingredients after removing from heat. (If giblet stuffing is desired, cook giblets, except liver, in a little salted water until done. Add meat to above mixture.) Chop giblets. Use more cut up bread for large turkey.
