ICE CREAM PIE
 
Ingredients
  • 2 sq. chocolate
  • ½ c. butter
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ c. nuts
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites, beaten very stiff
  • 1 package vanilla wafers
  • 2 qts vanilla ice cream
Instructions
  1. Melt butter and chocolate together. Add sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and nuts. Add beaten egg yolks to chocolate mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Crumb 1 package vanilla wafers. Line the bottom of 9x13 inch cake pan with wafers. Save one half for top. Put the chocolate mixture on the crumbs. Spread 2 quarts vanilla ice cream over chocolate mixture. Add rest of crumbs on top. Freeze.
