HILDE’S RHUBARB PIE
- 4 c. rhubarb, cut into pieces
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1⅓ c. sugar
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- 2 unbaked pie shells
- butter
- 1 c. flour
- ½ c. sugar
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ⅓ c. melted shortening
- 1 c. rolled oats
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- Mix first four ingredients. Put into two unbaked pie shells. Dot with butter. Cover with topping and bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Pies may be frozen, before baking, for later use.
