HILDE’S RHUBARB PIE
 
Ingredients
FILLING:
  • 4 c. rhubarb, cut into pieces
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1⅓ c. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 unbaked pie shells
  • butter
TOPPING:
  • 1 c. flour
  • ½ c. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ⅓ c. melted shortening
  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Mix first four ingredients. Put into two unbaked pie shells. Dot with butter. Cover with topping and bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Pies may be frozen, before baking, for later use.
