FROSTED LEMON JELL-O SALAD
 
Ingredients
  • 2 pkgs.lemon Jell-O
  • 3-1/2 c. hot water
  • 2 c. sm. marshmallows
  • 4 diced bananas
  • 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
TOPPING:
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • ½ pint whipped cream
  • Chopped pecans, if desired
Instructions
  1. Mix: jello, water and marshmallows. Cool until mixture starts to thicken. Then add bananas and pineapple. Put into 9x13 inch pan and refrigerate until set.
  2. TOPPING:
  3. Cook juice, sugar, flour, and butter until thickened. Cool. Add whipped cream. Cook until thickened. Cool. Add whipped cream. Spread on Jell-O mixture. Sprinkle top with chopped pecans, if desired.
