FROSTED LEMON JELL-O SALAD
- 2 pkgs.lemon Jell-O
- 3-1/2 c. hot water
- 2 c. sm. marshmallows
- 4 diced bananas
- 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 c. pineapple juice
- ½ c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- ½ pint whipped cream
- Chopped pecans, if desired
- Mix: jello, water and marshmallows. Cool until mixture starts to thicken. Then add bananas and pineapple. Put into 9x13 inch pan and refrigerate until set.
- TOPPING:
- Cook juice, sugar, flour, and butter until thickened. Cool. Add whipped cream. Cook until thickened. Cool. Add whipped cream. Spread on Jell-O mixture. Sprinkle top with chopped pecans, if desired.
