DUSTY'S PEANUT BRITTLE
 
Ingredients
  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 2 c. sugar
  • ½ c. water
  • 1-1/2 c. raw peanuts
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Combine syrup, sugar and water in saucepan. Boil slowly until syrup spins a fine thread. Add peanuts and continue to cook to 300 degrees or hard ball stage and a golden brown. Add butter, vanilla, salt and soda and stir until blended. Pour on a well buttered jelly roll pan. Cool.
