DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE
- 6 tbsp. cocoa
- 2 c. flour
- 1-1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- ¾ c. Crisco, melted
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Sift together first 5 ingredients. Then make a well and add rest but do not stir until everything IS in; beat well. Bake in 9x13x2 inch pan for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Frost with confectioners' sugar and buttercream frosting.
