DAD'S CORN FRITTERS
 
Ingredients
  • 1 c. cream style corn
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • ¾ c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Sift dry ingredients together. Add corn, beaten egg yolks and shortening; mix well. Fold in beaten egg whites. Drop by spoonfuls onto well greased pan. Brown well on both sides. Serve with butter, syrup or jelly.
