CHOCOLATE DROPS
Serves: Makes 36 cookies.
 
Ingredients
  • 2 bars German sweet chocolate
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ c. flour
  • ¾ c. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ¾ c. chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Stir. Cool. Beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time. Beat until thickened (15 minutes). Blend in chocolate. Add flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon, blend. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven until cookies feel set when touched very lightly (in about 8 minutes).
