CHERRY CUSTARD DESSERT
 
Ingredients
  • 1¼ c. flour
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • Vanilla pudding, not instant
  • Milk, a little less than package calls for
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Cool whip
Instructions
  1. Blend flour, oleo, and sugar thoroughly and pat into 9x9 inch square pan. Bake 20-22 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.
  2. Make vanilla pudding (not instant) using a little less milk than package directions call for. Cool and pour over baked crust. Pour 1 can thickened pie cherries (pie filling) over the custard. Serve with Cool Whip on top. (This is also good with thickened blueberries.)
