BUTTER COCONUT COOKIES
 
Ingredients
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • ½ c. chopped coconut
  • 2 c. flour
  • ¾ tsp. baking powder
  • ¾ tsp. soda
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add coconut that has been put through a food grinder; blend well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add butter mixture. Beat until smooth. Form into small balls and place on greased baking sheet. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 300 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
