BEEF CHOP SUEY
 
Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 lbs. round steak
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 can bean sprouts
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Instructions
  1. Brown the sugar in large skillet. Cut meat into ½ inch cubes. Brown in skillet. Stir. Add all but last 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 45 minutes. Add next 3 ingredients and heat. Stir in cornstarch blended with a little cold water. Cook stirring until thickened.
