BAKED LIMA BEANS
- 7 slices of bacon
- ¼ c. minced onion
- ½ c. minced celery
- ⅔ c. light molasses
- ⅓ c. catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 c. liquid from beans
- 3 c. cooked lima beans
- 1 tsp. mustard, prepared
- Get either large or small lima beans. Soak overnight. Cook until about done. Cut three slices of bacon into small pieces. Fry lightly. Remove bacon and fry onion and celery until golden brown. Mix all. Put 4 slices of bacon on top and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
