DAD'S CORN FRITTERS
- 1 c. cream style corn
- 2 eggs, separated
- ¾ c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- ⅛ tsp. salt
- Sift dry ingredients together. Add corn, beaten egg yolks and shortening; mix well. Fold in beaten egg whites. Drop by spoonfuls onto well greased pan. Brown well on both sides. Serve with butter, syrup or jelly.
