CHOCOLATE VELVET SAUCE (For Ice Cream)
- ½ c. light syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 oz. un-sweetened chocolate squares
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- Cook syrup, water and sugar to soft ball stage; remove from the fire. Add 3 (1 oz.) un-sweetened chocolate squares and stir until melted. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and slowly add one cup evaporated milk. Mix. Reheat over hot water.
