CHOCOLATE DROPS
Serves: Makes 36 cookies.
Ingredients
- 2 bars German sweet chocolate
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs
- ¼ c. flour
- ¾ c. sugar
- ¼ tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- ¾ c. chopped pecans
Instructions
- Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Stir. Cool. Beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time. Beat until thickened (15 minutes). Blend in chocolate. Add flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon, blend. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven until cookies feel set when touched very lightly (in about 8 minutes).
