CARAMEL CORN (Gene's)
- 1 c. white sugar
- ½ c. white syrup
- 1-1/4 c. sorghum
- ½ c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 4 qts. popped corn
- 1 tsp. soda
- Combine all the ingredients except the popcorn and soda. Cook until syrup becomes golden brown and brittle when tested in cold water. Add the soda and pour over the popcorn, stirring while pouring. Break up into small pieces.
