BEEF CHOP SUEY
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lbs. round steak
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Instructions
- Brown the sugar in large skillet. Cut meat into ½ inch cubes. Brown in skillet. Stir. Add all but last 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 45 minutes. Add next 3 ingredients and heat. Stir in cornstarch blended with a little cold water. Cook stirring until thickened.
